Amateur is about the rise and struggles of a talented 14-year-old student basketball player. At the start, the movie is kinda boring. It was slow and low. How the story was told and how they build up the characters. However, in the middle until the end, the story became interesting a little exciting. You need an intuition of a basketball fan to be able to relate and appreciate this movie. Don’t watch this if you don’t like basketball. A QUIET PLACE – not good

A Quiet Place Genre: Drama, Horror, Mystery and Suspense The time I saw the trailer for A Quiet Place , I became very excited about this. Seeing this to be the best horror movie of 2018. Conversely, this movie failed to meet my expectations. A Quiet Place is a story of a family who forced to live in silence after the invasion of mysterious monsters that hunt by sound which threaten their survival. If these monsters hear you, they will hunt and kill you. The story is very simple, short and plain. As if, it just happened overnight. A forgettable movie. Nonetheless, the characters and the actors are good. The movie also gives a fair thrill and suspense. (1)  On the Job (2013) Genre: Action, Crime, Drama If you like action movies, definitely, this is the one to watch!  This is about prison inmates temporarily released from prison to work as contract killers. I must say, this is an amazing awesome movie. A work of art. When you watch this, your senses and emotions will surely work. You will feel pain, feel pity, be angry, be shocked, etc. Just like riding on a roller coaster. I highly recommend this. A movie that you will never forget. P.S. Just Guns and Bloods. SIN ISLAND (NOW STREAMING ON IFLIX)

Sin Island (2018) Genre: Drama, Mystery, Thriller, and Suspense (Available on IFLIX ) This movie is watchable and not boring. You will like this if you’re in with thriller movies. There was a big shift with the plot and seeing this as a movie with two incoherent parts. However, the movie is still enjoyable. The story is about a perfect married couple David (Xian Lim) and Kanika (Coleen Garcia). David was a successful photographer before his career goes into a downward spiral. Then, his wife Kanika loses interest with him and had an affair with her co-worker. After discovering that his wife is cheating on him, David travels to Sin Island (Sinilaban Island) where he starts his own affair with Tasha (Nathalie Hart). Personally, I enjoyed the last part of this movie. This movie is recommended for boys’ movie night since, boys like thriller and intense romance.
