Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned

This is a fantasy movie from South Korea. A girl named Su-rin moves to a remote island with her step-father after her mother passes away. She met Sung-min, an orphan boy and they become best friends.  One day, they venture into a cave in the forest with a group of kids and discover a glittering egg, which, according to the local folk tale, holds a monster that can instantly turn a child into an adult.

Yes, the movie started strong. How they build the character of Su-rin and her relationship with Sung-min. However, after the first 15 minutes, the movie became confusing. I thought the movie would be a fantasy love story, but it turns into a mystery, crime, and fantasy. Also, the character of Sung-min (played by the lead actor) was weak. He did not stand out and nor deliver support. Also, the connection, spark, and chemistry of Su-rin and Sung-min gone in the last hour of the movie. Then the movie became boring until the end.

Rating: 2/10, not good for me

The story is about a seventy-year-old man Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) who becomes a senior intern in an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). It is very enjoyable to see a blend of past and now. Seeing its differences and its own strength and weaknesses. I smile a lot on this movie! Midnight Runners (2017) Genre: Action, Comedy, Crime (Available on IFLIX) You should watch this! A movie with full of morals. Very heartwarming and sure you will learn something. The story was simple but properly told. This is about two young police academy cadets who become best friends at Police University. One night, they witnessed a crime that makes them use the things they have learned in the academy to track down the criminals. I laughed and have fun with this. The ending was great too! The First Purge (2018) Genre: Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller Let's Participate! Let's Purge! The First Purge is the fourth movie of purge film franchise. This is an enjoyable and thrilling movie. With the same concept as the first three purge movies. Twelve (12) hours of lawlessness, where all crimes including murder become legal.  The Fist Purge tells how it all starts. The movie intro really marked. It was strong, a conversation between a statesman and a distressed person where the word Purge spill out. The characters likable, and the story was exciting from first until the end. A little downside, the movie short of some explanation. Add this movie to your watchlist!
